The 'Golden Arrow' at Ramsbottom Station

>The Golden Arrow at Ramsbottom Station

This locomotive was named the 'City of Wells' (34092) and it was built in 1949. It was used on the prestigious "Golden Arrow" boat/train route between London and Paris.
It was recently restored over a 25 year timespan, finally being completed in 2014.

Taken from the footbridge this photograph shows the full extent of its famous 'volcanic' eruptions of steam, and has been desaturated slightly to give a vintage feel to the image.
