A Personal Collection of My Favourite Images

Welcome to My Photographic Gallery

I hope you have time to browse through the varied subjects of images that I have taken.

I started taking photographs at the age of 5yrs, when my father, who was then a primary school teacher, used to take me with him on his school's annual trips to the Lake District.

Those landscapes inspired me to pursue my passion for enjoying the natural world and particularly walking and mountaineering.

Many years later I joined my local Camera club in Bolton and I was able to involve myself with many photographic trips and assignments which led to a wider interest in photographing wildlife, and architecture.

Being a member of Bolton Camera Club taught me to appreciate creative composition, the quality and importance of photographic light, and how to visualize the final image when being viewed through the camera lens.
